One of the strains of “Fish Lake” developed by the late Ontario Garlic Grower Ted Maczka AKA The Fish Lake Garlic Man of Fish Lake, Ontario. He was a pioneer and promoter of the health benefits of garlic and the Ontario Garlic Industry. His personality was even bigger than the bulbs of garlic he would wear on the brim of his hat. This porcelain variety is a robust grower and can get huge bulbs. Good flavour with a medium heat. Why not maintain a bit of Canadian garlic history with this well known local variety?
