Legacy is a hardneck Rocambole variety with origins from a farm in Blyth, Ontario. White clove skins with some reddish-pink blush. Bulb wrapper colour can change depending on soil conditions where it is grown. This one has fairly typical Rocambole flavour: warm, rich, garlicky. Not too hot, good all purpose garlic. Rocamboles are considered to have the best flavour according to some chefs and serious cooks.
